Glasshouses

Author(s): Stuart Barnes

Gift

"trumpeting through blood bone the glasshouse's yellow stars These poems orchestrate an eclectic and original music, curating their treasury of the new and reimagined. Exquisitely crafted, they balance attention and adventure, emerging from a croche of stars' to blast wild and high in gilded radiance. With their gorse and honey, their yellow spurs' and sunstruck ribs', they are luminous and joyful, without forgetting bruises and shadows."
